Coming Home is a series of 3 drawings that depict the process of healing and coming into harmony with the body. It is a companion to the poem Coming Home

As she begins to turn her attention into her body, she discovers the pain of long buried wounds. Inside her belly, an adolescent girl huddles in an effort to protect herself. This willingness to feel again and to grieve begins a process of self-awareness and self-kindness, thus the shell begins to open. Her hands reach down and caress the parts that have been neglected for so long… reconnecting brings wholeness.
